Firewall (FW) service for branches
Firewall for the branches of the organization – what is the advantage of a managed service over independent boxes in branches?
A firewall is a product intended to allow users and applications to access computers outside the organization (through the internet or in other branches).
Firewall
The fastest and simplest way to connect a branch to the organization’s network is by using a firewall with an internet connection. This infrastructure allows the use of encrypted communication between branches for the organization’s applications.
When we want to allow communication between two branches we have to define new rules for the Firewall, in order to allow access to specific traffic or application. This requires increasingly complex administration the more branches and networks are involved.
