How do you connect remote international users to the organization’s servers while maintaining high performance?

The IT managers of an organization are often required to provide a fast and secured solution for remote international users wishing to connect to the organization’s servers. The standard solution is to install a security product (usually a firewall) to provide a secured communication infrastructure (usually SSL VPN) over the internet and connect the remote user’s computer with the organization’s servers.

What’s wrong with this solution?

Well, in many cases, installing a firewall in Israel for SSL VPN communication by remote users is not a bad solution, and usually does the job.
However, this solution is less suited for organizations in which employees are in remote locations such as the Far East, South Africa or South America, since in these places internet infrastructure suffers from variable latency and data loss, causing the connection of roaming users to the organization’s systems to be noticeably slower.

Is there a better alternative?

We offer a solution that provides roaming users with a connection over a fast private and secured network, allowing them to work with the organization’s servers without the need to make changes to the end user’s work configuration.

The idea is based on routing the traffic of roaming users from the local internet to which they are connected to the nearest communication node (very low latency), and from this node across the globe to the communication node closest to the organization’s servers. The information travels over a private, secured and fast medium, with no data loss or instability, and is then routed from the communication node over the internet to the organization’s security systems (usually the organization’s firewall) and on to the organization’s servers.

This way allows to preserve user experience without the need to make changed to the user’s connection, while simplifying the network configuration.
